It works by killing infection-causing bacteria and reducing inflammation, thereby relieving itching, redness, and swelling. Use it only on the affected skin for a short duration. Common side effects include burning, itching, dryness, and skin irritation. Do not apply it to the eyes, mouth, or nose.
